OUR MATERIALS
18k Gold Vermeil
All of our jewelry is made from highest quality 18k gold vermeil. It sounds fancy and it is. It's pronounced "Ver-May," by the way. But what does that mean, and how does it differ from "gold plated"?
To be considered gold vermeil, the piece must have a base of 925 sterling silver and the thickness of the gold must be at least 2.5 microns. Thus, our jewelry is much more durable and long-lasting than a simple gold plating, which consists of only a thin layer.
925 Sterling Silver
For the production of our silver jewelry we use only the highest quality 925 sterling silver. This alloy consists of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. All of our sterling silver pieces are stamped with the 925 mark, which indicates the purity of the metal.
Pearls
For the manufacturing of our jewelry we use only genuine freshwater pearls. Each pearl is handpicked and as unique as you are. Therefore, our pearls may vary in size, shape and color.
Mother-of-Pearl
Mother-of-pearl is the iridescent inner layer of the shell. The unique iridescence of the mother-of-pearl in the colors of the rainbow makes each piece of jewelry unique. We use only genuine and naturally occurring mother of pearl for our jewelry.
