What sets us apart from many large companies in the jewelry and fashion industry is our responsible and fair treatment of Mother Earth and her inhabitants in the manufacturing of our jewelry. Find out what we do better at CULAJE here.
We know that we are not perfect and we are always working to minimize our environmental footprint even further.
Fair manufacturing
For the production of our jewelry we work with small family-run manufactories, where trained goldsmiths lovingly handcraft each piece.
All our family-run manufactories are members of the Responsible Jewelry Council, a non-profit certification organization that monitors human rights, labor rights and environmental impact in the jewelry industry. Thus, we can ensure that fair working conditions and wages are given, that women are especially promoted and child labor is strictly rejected.
Responsibly selected materials
Instead of laboriously extracting new materials to make your jewelry, we work with materials that are already there and use 100% recycled gold and silver for your jewelry. Even the pearls and mother of pearl are responsibly sourced. Learn more about our materials here.
Our jewelry box and pouch, like all of our materials, are consciously and responsibly made.
Climate friendly shipping
Also in the shipping of our jewelry we want to be as careful as possible with the resources of our earth.
Therefore, our shipping box is reduced to the minimum size and consists to a large extent of recycled materials, which come from Europe.
To ensure that your jewelry arrives as environmentally friendly as possible, we use only DHL GoGreen for shipping. This way, transport-related CO2 emissions are offset by certified climate protection projects.
